Convenient side by side spacing

At first, we had trouble with food placement as the refrigerator side is narrower than a full width fridge. But after some thought it works out well and is much easier to access. We really like the convenience and space of the freezer side. And the whole overall look is nice. Also, the smudge proof finish is really nice!

The best feature about this fridge is the ice and water spout being in the freezer and side of the door. We have large dogs and they cannot access the ice and water dispenser when we aren™€™t home. No ice or water on the floor from it being accessible from the front of the fridge door!

This is our 3rd fridge in about 2 weeks. It™€™s the only one that the temperatures stay close to balanced in the refrigerator compartment. The refrigerator shelves are 100% adjustable to your needs. Not too crazy about the shallow door shelves. The freezer compartment is smaller than other fridges.

The fridge works great. Since the water dispenser is in the door, the doors are thicker than other models. That makes the fridge deeper than some other models. Something to keep in mind when sizing this one for your kitchen. Also the temperature controls are on the same door side as the water dispenser. I've already accidentally changed the temperature of the freezer while trying to get water multiple times.

I™€™ve had this Frigidaire Gallery side-by-side fridge for a few weeks now, and overall, I™€™m pleased. It™€™s spacious, runs quietly, and keeps everything at the right temperature™€"exactly what I hoped for.Before this, I had a French door fridge with a bottom freezer, and I honestly find this layout much more spacious and easier to organize. It™€™s a simple, straightforward fridge with one clever twist: the water dispenser is tucked inside the right door, rather than built into the exterior. That design keeps the outside clean and sleek while still offering the convenience of filtered water.When the delivery team unwrapped the fridge, I noticed a visible scratch and dent on the bottom side™€"not on the door, so I let it slide. But I also found several small dents along the door trim and a few scratches on the door itself. A stainless steel cleaner helped minimize the appearance, but they™€™re still noticeable from a distance. They don™€™t affect performance, but I do wish the finish had arrived in better shape.One other oddity: the freezer door sits slightly higher than the fridge door. I™€™ve seen this on my parents™€™ similar Frigidaire model too, so it seems to be a recurring issue. The product photos show even doors, so it™€™s a bit surprising. Everything freezes™€¦everything on both sides. Three days in and can not get the temp set. Even my eggs froze. Have the temp set to warmest and recommended but it didn™€™t matter. Nothing blocking air flow. I need a new refrigerator delivered without any hassle to me please. This is very disappointing.

Great replacement for beach community

We purchased this in October 2025 to fix a problem with our existing freezer compartment that had the pull-out on the bottom. The metal rails would freeze and we would get calls from the vacation rental management company and have to pay for a service call. This side-by-side eliminates this issue. Also love the water dispenser on the edge of the door - less problems with that design. Lastly the ice maker dispenser/bucket is very large and is inside the unit which makes this more reliable. Very large capacity to store food and frozen goods. Very happy with this Frigidaire.

Slow Ice Maker

The shelf spacing is good (though not adjustable), the doors have a nice hinge system, and it looks great especially with the doors tall enough to cover the top hinges. The ice maker is much slower than our Whirlpool units have been, and does not produce enough ice for our needs. The air filter in the refrigerator side eats into the shelf space and seems kind of a waste. The only other issue I have is that the handles pick up anything that is on your hands even when they aren™€™t very dirty and do not wipe easily.
