love the increased ice production option. Unit is quite and looks great. Only 2 reasons why i did not give a perfect score. One, no small in door above the ice/water bin so i took the one from my previous GE fridge and installed there. Two, no top door hinge caps - pretty cheap of GE not to provide for both #1 and #2

GE Profile series of side-by-side refrigerators have a modern appearance, generous storage space and great features. LED lighting is well positioned. Adjustable shelving location helps to customize storage needs. Digital display of freezer/refrigerator temperatures (both setpoint and actual) is very useful for monitoring performance and performing troubleshooting. Internal glass shelving promotes spill protection and high visibility. Only negative so far is that the bottom support roller wheels seem undersized and allows for some instability in the casing. Otherwise, this product has met all my expectations.

I love how the shelves and drawers are laid out for maximum storage, and the resistance to fingerprints seems to be the real thing. My only complaint is the volume. One of the "cycles" is louder than any refrigerator I've ever owned, a very loud sound that resembles a moan. It's quite prominent.

This refrigerator is the same cubic foot total as our last side-by-side, but the fridge section is a bit larger and the freezer a bit smaller. I like the adjustable shelves so I can configure my fridge interior to suit my needs. I have only had it for two days, but it seems like a great fridge. My only complaint is that it makes a humming sound almost constantly. This is normal according to the manual, but it is something I will have to adjust to. I wish I knew about the humming before making this purchase.

My refrigerator arrived intact. The refrigerator was package to perfection! The factory took great pride in making sure that every part and surface was covered. I waited the 48 hours for the appliance to come up to temp. After which, everything function as described. This is such a welcome addition to my kitchen. I thought that I need to covered the refrigerators door handles, but that are finger print resistant too! I am more than happy with my purchase. The only draw back is, the compartment drawers are not as quality as my old refrigerator. They are plastic, and I thought that they could have been made with a more heaver material. Other then that. It is definitely a wait and see.

Water dispenser and ice maker stopped working after 2 months. Troubleshooting with GE and nothing works... then unsurprisingly my GE dishwasher stopped working a week later. Both are 2 months old. I think I just wasted $15k + in appliances I expect my washer/dryer/oven will break soon too. I'm so mad at myself for not doing research first and avoiding GE.

1. I've had this refrigerator less than 6 weeks, and I've already had to have a $75 service call because it wasn't making ice. 2. The baskets in the freezer are terrible! They are too narrow to fit properly on the railings, so are constantly ajar when at rest. When trying to slide them out to put in/take out items, it's a constant struggle. The tech who came for the ice issue agreed there is a problem, and said that the drawers should not be this way. Can anything be done? 3. The spacing of the shelves on the refrigerator side is ill-planned. The top shelf is deep enough for bottles, pitchers, and other larger, heavier items, but these items are specifically the ones that are difficult to put on that shelf because of their size/weight. Right now, I have to put my iced tea pitcher on the shelf below the one that can be slid in, which then reduces the functionality of that shelf.

This is our 3rd GE Profile. The first two were great, that's why we bought another when we moved to a new house. This one has really poorly designed drawers (frig side) and baskets (freezer side). They remind me of an entry level GE unit, not the quality we are use to from a Profile. I almost think this is a mislabeled unit that is not really a Profile.

This fridge has ample room, is extremely well-lit, and keeps veggies nicely crisp. The fingerprint-proof finish is amazing, especially in a house with two older humans who don't always notice things. (Well, two older humans, one of whom doesn't notice things like fingetprints.) I'm delighted to not need to wipe up after this human much these days. :-)

The GE Profile as compared to the GE has an extra drawer and extra shelves that make an extreme difference. No wasted space.
